Meet Simone
Simone is a Chicana death doula, healer, and community care facilitator. She is based in Phoenix, Arizona on Akimel O’otham and Piipaash land, among many other Indigenous peoples.
In 2023, she completed her End-of-Life Doula Training through Going With Grace and became NEDA Proficient. However, she has been engaged in death work for much of her life. Her latest initiative is the Metro Phoenix End of Life Professional Network, of which she is a proud co-founder.
In addition to her role as a death doula, Simone is also an apprentice of curanderismo. You may find her offering community healing services around the Valley alongside the Patiloni Collective.
